EyeSouth Partners (“EyeSouth” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has completed an affiliation with Mitchell Refractive Surgery & Eye Center and The Optique (together referred to as “Mitchell Refractive”). The affiliation represents EyeSouth’s fourth in the state of Florida and seventeenth affiliation overall. EyeSouth is an eye care-focused management services organization backed by Shore Capital Partners committed to partnering with leading physicians to build a premier network of eye care services in the South. EyeSouth’s affiliate network consists of 17 practices with approximately 115 doctors providing medical and surgical eye care services at approximately 70 locations including 11 surgery centers throughout Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama.
Mitchell Refractive was founded by Dr. Alan Mitchell in 1993 and has grown into a premier boutique practice in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Mitchell has a longstanding relationship with another EyeSouth affiliate, Florida Eye Microsurgical and its doctors, and we expect this partnership will further strengthen their relationship. Mitchell Refractive employs approximately 12 support staff and provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, cosmetic treatments, and eyeglasses to a wide range of patients in the area.
